I love this. I was going to say that it reminded me of Dostoevsky Comics, but the connection is pretty obvious. It makes me want to read the book again, that's for sure.

Thank you, I love Sikoryak's Action Camus and Good Old Gregor Brown so much. I think, even after all these years, I could still consider this my favorite book. I can pick it up from anywhere and still enjoy the hell out of it.

thanks, man. i read this again for a class, so it was pretty fresh in my memory, but i still had to skim through the book. but i'd read it so many times in high school, it's permanently ingrained into my mind, for better or worse.

This sucks. I am at work so my computer doesn't show the image!

Last week a freind tried to explain Action Camus to me. I didn't find it funny. When we were in Quimby's she showed me it and I couldn't stop laughing.

I haven't read very much of Salinger's stuff outside of the Catcher in the Rye, actually. I think I may own a copy of Franny & Zooey, however, so maybe I'll give it a read, as a break after Ulysses.

aw, well thank you very much. i didn't want to lean too far between holden's misanthropy and nostalgia, and i also didn't want to make it tooooo obvious (which is why i only used PHONY once).

I hope you reread it again soon! Winter is a good time for it.

This is so great! Just seeing the little rainbow stripe in the upper left corner warms my heart.

Franny and Zooey is one of my favorite books of all time. I hope you enjoy it when you finally read it!

Thank you! I love the Little, Brown books design, I remember replicating it for my computer desktop in high school, I may even still have it saved on my photobucket.
